Mountain runners sprint through 68,897 feet of rocky terrain up steep steps and paths to the summit of Mount Kinabalu—13,435 feet high—and back to the Kinabalu Park headquarters to complete the race. While the average person takes two days, the herculean contestants can reach the finishing line in approximately two and a half hours.
